INUMC 2024-2025 Strategic Direction

Vision: Cultivate Joy!

We are cultivating joy not just for now, but also for the future. Good leaders plant trees of which they will never see the shade. Click here to read more about our Strategic Direction.

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight and the sin that clings so closely, and let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, who for the sake of the joy that was set before him endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such hostility against himself from sinners, so that you may not grow weary or lose heart.” (Hebrews 12:1-3, NRSV)

Who We Are

We are unapologetically Jesus-centered, United Methodist communities living our mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ.

We are called to the transformation of the world following in our Wesleyan heritage.

We are beautiful children of God, and God is among us now.

We are empowered by God’s mighty acts to be the light of Christ in our world.

Our purpose is to do good works so people can see, experience, and glorify Christ.

We are God’s accomplishment, created in Christ Jesus to do good things. (Ephesians 2:10 CEB)
