We believe that disciples of Jesus Christ are made in the local church and support this through equipping our laity and clergy to be in ministry within their mission fields locally and globally (glocally).
Connectional Ministries embodies teams and resources that assist the local church in connecting to the world for continued missional ministries that help us engage and nurture our neighbors in their experience with Christ. Through this core ministry area, churches and leaders can find trainings, financial grants, opportunities for service, links to the Connection and General Church, or specialized workshops designed to the needs of a church or community.
Connectional Ministries primary ministry areas are as follows:
Connectional Ministries also serves as the steward of the Annual Conference’s rules and structure guidelines, as well as plans and coordinates the work of the Conference Committee on Nominations. The work of Connectional Ministries also includes serving as the connection point to affiliated United Methodist-related organizations and institutions on behalf of the Conference.
