About the Children, Students, & Young Adults Ministry

Emerging leaders are not just our future Church — they are the Church right now. Young people are called by God to live out His mission in the world today and in the days to come. We seek to engage and equip emerging leaders throughout the Indiana Conference. Our team is currently positioned to connect leaders who innovate together for the greatest impact.

Our Goals

Connect leaders to one another. Whether you are a student or ministry leader –
we need each other.

Be curious about the possibilities that exist in ministry with children, youth, families, and young adults.

Make a difference. Our voices matter. Our presence matters. Our actions matter.

Areas of Focus

Student Opportunities

Students matter to the Church. We provide opportunities and resources for students to thrive in their faith and leadership. Join us in learning, growing, and sharing your voice.

Children Matter Most

Join us in ministering to the most vulnerable among us: children. This initiative informs and equips churches about nonviolence, food insecurity, and partnering with schools.

Staff and Volunteer Support

If leading children, youth, college students, or young adults is your passion, we want to walk with you in the uncertainty and the joys. Explore resources, equipping opportunities, and support as you lead.

Children and young people are in a unique stage of life for experiencing and growing in Christ. Sometimes we have questions about the materials to use and how to incorporate all ages in faith development — or we simply need a new idea. Discover resources to help in the journey.

Camping Ministry

At camp, there are opportunities for children and youth to tap into their energy unlike any other experience. They will encounter Christ, relationships, and new challenges that will help them grow as a disciple.

Consider the United Methodist Colleges available in Indiana for your education. Learn more about ministries happening throughout the state that are available for all college students. Find ways to reach out to college leaders and learn about scholarships.

Growing Young

Is your church looking for an opportunity to create meaningful bridges between all generations? Does your congregation want to foster relationships with youth and young adults?
