신학과 현대 이슈에 관한 북교회 시리즈

미국 최고의 신학자 중 한 명이 5월 5일(일) 노스연합감리교회에서 은혜와 오늘날 사회에 대한 은혜의 중요성에 대한 생각을 나눌 예정입니다.

뉴욕 유니온 신학교 총장인 세린 존스 목사는 이날 오후 인디애나폴리스 3808 노스 메리디안 스트리트에 위치한 노스 교회에서 무료 오찬에 이어 은혜에 관한 강연을 진행할 예정입니다. 무료 점심과 강연은 오후 12시 30분부터 오후 2시 30분까지 진행됩니다.

또한 이날 오전 8시 30분과 오전 11시 두 차례의 교회 정기 예배에서 설교를 전할 예정입니다.

존스 박사의 프레젠테이션은 윌리엄 E. 슈미트 재단의 관대한 지원금 덕분에 대중에게 무료로 공개됩니다.

그녀는 매년 세계 최대 규모의 종교 학자 모임을 주최하는 미국 종교학회의 전 회장입니다.

존스 박사는 예일대학교에서 17년 동안 신대원 타이터스 스트리트 신학 교수와 예술과학대학원의 여성, 젠더 및 섹슈얼리티 연구 프로그램 위원장을 역임한 후 유니온에 부임했습니다.

오클라호마 대학교, 예일 신학교, 예일 대학교에서 학위를 받았습니다. 그녀는 기독교 교회(그리스도의 제자들)와 연합 그리스도 교회에서 안수를 받았습니다.
