FRANKLIN HAYES MESSENGER, 90, of Palm Harbor, FL, retired elder, known affectionately to friends and family as Frank, passed away peacefully on 3월 8, 2024. 

Those who knew Frank will remember him as a loving father and grandfather, a devoted husband to his wife, Connee, and late wife, Susan, and a cherished friend. He was a guiding light to his children, Robert, Arthur (Florence), Charles (Karen), Richard (Emma), and Elise (John) Fisher, as well as his stepchildren, Jennifer Shimko and Jason Hine. Frank’s legacy continues through his 15 grandchildren. Frank is also survived by his two sisters, Mary Jane Swenson and Jeannie (Dale) Claypoole. 

Frank’s family invites you to join them in honoring his memory and celebrating his life. A memorial service will be held 4월 27 at 2:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Clearwater, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank’s memory to First United Methodist Church of Clearwater Chancel Choir or ToyMakers of East Lake.

Frank served Muncie Main Street UMC (1977-1978), Morningside UMC (1977-1978), Whiting UMC (1978-1983), Michigan City Hillcrest UMC (1986-1987), Congress Street UMC (1987-1989), Logansport Third St UMC (1989-1994), Wheatland Ave UMC (1989-1994), and Avilla Calvary UMC (1994-1996).
