Bradley United Methodist Church is seeking a part-time Youth Leader capable of starting and building a youth program. 1) This position will be responsible for developing, leading, and managing ministry programs on Sunday mornings and one additional time period each week. 2) The Youth Leader will also be a relational person who spends some planned time outside the four walls of the church building. 3) The ideal candidate will exhibit a spiritual focus, a dynamic personality, and ability to direct and relate well with a variety of ages. 4) The Youth Pastor will also work collaboratively with the Pastor, staff, other ministry leaders, parents and volunteers.
We are a United Methodist congregation. Applicants need not have a Methodist or Wesleyan background, but there would be an expectation that the candidate would be in alignment with Wesleyan theology. Further, our church has a welcoming statement inviting all to worship and to participate fully into the life and ministry of the church.
