Hours: Monday-Thursday 20 hours/week
Reports to: Sr. Pastor
Position Summary: The primary function is to oversee and promote all activities that come through the church office as well as to provide the support to the Sr. Pastor and other ministry areas within the church body.
Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
Daily:
Always exhibit professionalism, demonstrated by a well-groomed appearance, conscientious work ethic, teaching ability and accountability.
Be ever conscious of the need for confidentiality.
Maintain and organize office area.
Screen and route all incoming calls.
Periodically check & respond to phone voice mail, & email.
Pick up & distribute all mail correspondence.
Organize and Maintain church calendar.
Weekly:
Enter attendance into Church software.
Enter contributions from previous Sunday and deposit money at the bank & keep record of deposit.
Print weekly attendance report.
Publicize upcoming events.
Create, upload, print, & fold weekly bulletins and any inserts, etc.
Email bulletins to congregation list & hard copy to shut-ins.
Update Google calendar for church website as well as website information, sermon, events, etc.
Create Advertising/Marketing Materials using Canva
Share Event Information
Monthly:
Print, distribute, and file minutes for Church Board meetings.
Create, print, fold, mail & email monthly newsletter.
Reconcile Credit Card Statement.
Keep record of Ad Council minutes.
Prepare mailing labels for Birthday Cards (Bonnie Catron).
Research Grants/Funds Available for Church Programs, Capital Improvement.
Quarterly/Yearly:
Print & Assemble new phone directories.
Print & Distribute end of year Donation statements.
Create, print, & mail letters and cards as needed.
Prepare annual year end and charge conference reports.
Prepare and set out weekly and monthly offering envelopes.

As Needed:
Set up meetings and other appointments.
Notify staff of hospitalizations, deaths, prayer requests, etc.
Coordinate scheduling & necessary paperwork for weddings, funerals, baptisms.
Order and maintain office, custodial, and church supplies (Cokesbury, Amazon, Christina books, etc.).
Maintains ID’s and passwords for websites.
File Paperwork.
Maintain and update forms as needed.
Keep handy copies of SS attendance sheets, nursery sign in, congregation count, & time sheets.
Keep accurate membership records (new members, baptisms, weddings, births, transfers, deaths, address & phone number
changes, etc.).
Maintain petty cash with accurate records and receipts.
Create Key Cards for building entry.
