Organizational Overview

St. Luke’s United Methodist Church

St. Luke’s UMC is one of the largest United Methodist churches in the U.S. with a membership of over 6,000. The United Methodist Church states, “The mission of the Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.” At St. Luke’s we respond to that call with this purpose statement: We are an open community of Christians helping people find and give hope through Jesus Christ. We are called to worship God with all our heart, connect with others with all your mind & spirit, and serve the world with all our strength.

Early Years Ministry

Our mission is to welcome all children from birth to 5 years old, and their families, into loving, Christ-centered relationships where they will experience and share God’s love. We have the honor of being young children’s first impression of the community of faith; this means we also have the responsibility to keep them safe, help them to know God, and let them know that they belong. We also hope to empower parents to have confidence in leading their child on their faith journey, as well as offer support with their Christian parenting.
