The ideal candidate will have a visible and vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ displayed in his/her leadership of an established adult choir and in their leadership of the church’s music for the Classic Worship Ministry.

Expectations include leading and encouraging existing adult choir; directing rehearsals (1 weekly, 9 months per year); being responsible for worship music for Classic Worship every Sunday (8:45 and 10:00 a.m.), collaborating with Music Director and other staff to develop meaningful and effective worship that continues to grow in scope and excellence. The ideal candidate will be familiar with all aspects of Protestant Worship and display an understanding of worship needs in the local church. He/she will be proficient in playing the pipe organ, have experience directing adult choirs, and be skilled at planning and executing all aspects of Classic Worship music.

Candidates must demonstrate spiritual character and maturity, passion for Christ and their ministry, enthusiasm, vision, versatility, effective communication, and administration skills and teamwork in the leadership of an established and growing Classic Worship Ministry.
