And I was Glad
November white
The trees adorned

As God’s hello
The children played
And all was well
Fall gave way to
Winter tease
Like ornaments
On naked trees

Not everywhere
And God reminds
Me how to care
For little things that change our lives
Make us laugh and make us cry
It snowed today
I drove a while
Familiar with what makes me smile
The beauty of another day
