The grave site of Worth M. Tippyis located in the Vevay Cemetery(700 E Highway 156, Lot 2). As pastor of Broadway M.E. Church (Indianapolis), in 1902 he stirred up a controversy by his address on the duties of the church toward the wage earner. He was the founder of the U.M. Archives at Depauw University and one of the founders of the Methodist Federation for Social Service in 1907.
