Opening Ourselves to Grace: Basic Christian Practices

This course helps lay servant leaders embrace and communicate a Wesleyan understanding of basic Christian practices (works of piety and mercy) as means of grace. The leader is Pastor Adrienne Hinshaw. Participants can download the free participant’s guide at: https://www.umcdiscipleship.org/resources/lay-servant-ministries-advanced-courses It is expected participants will read the participants guide before the first session. The class will meet on 4 Tuesdays starting on 2/7/2023 and ending 2/28/2023, from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm ET. This is a ZOOM class. They must attend each session to get credit for taking the class. This is not a required class for Certified Lay Speaker.
