Is your church longing to see our mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world become a reality? Do you believe Christ’s picture of multiplication in Acts 1:8 (Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the ends of the earth) could happen today in your church? Would you like to change the world? Well, you’ve got company! The Indiana Conference through its Church Development team is launching a Multiplication Network to help churches do just that!
We’re inviting you join a process we’re calling Track 1, which will help you and your church develop stronger multiplication thinking. If your church is already involved in an effective disciple-making effort, is developing leaders or Fresh Expressions of church out in its community, this experience will provide you with support and add fuel to your fire! If your disciple-making and leadership development and multiplication efforts are needing help, this process will help you move forward.
Track 1 begins with a two-day retreat September 29-30th (done virtually) for you and one to two lay people from your church. You and your laity will then meet each month virtually from October-May 2021. During part of these sessions you’ll be in break-out groups (cohorts) with churches similar to yours. You’ll have a break-out group facilitator/coach who will be with you throughout the eight months. The cost is $100 per church for the entire process. (That works out to be only $12.50 a month!) This includes the cost of the retreat and monthly presentations, facilitator/coaches, and a copy of the book Hero Maker, by Dave Ferguson and Warren Bird.
