Enough is Enough: A Faith Rooted Conversation on Gun Violence Prevention

A joint effort of the Northern Illinois and Indiana United Methodist Conferences, along with several gun violence prevention advocacy groups in Illinois, ” Enough is Enough” is a faith-rooted event designed to create a space for healthy conversations on the realities surrounding gun violence in Illinois and Indiana, and how we can address the roots of the issue.

The event will feature a number of guest representatives and speakers including Rev. Larry Whitehead, Conference Superintendent serving the North District, and Rev. Tom Heaton, Associate Director of Mission and Justice Ministries.

The event will include a continental breakfast, Teach-in opportunities, café conversations, as well as next steps to equip guests to use what they’ve learned to take action in their own communities.
