Congregational Care Seminar

St. Luke’s United Methodist Church will be hosting a Congregational Care Seminar in partnership with nationally renowned expert Rev. Karen Lampe. Rev. Lampe created and implemented this method of care at Church of the Resurrection alongside Rev. Adam Hamilton for churches of all sizes to create a community of hope and assurance in our complex world. Through speaking engagements, conferences, and private consultation, Rev. Lampe provides capable, adaptable, and scalable guidance. She has authored two books about this CCM care model, available on her website, www.thecaringcongregation.com. Her enthusiasm for this program is palpable as she calls everyone to use the experiences of their lives to build the kingdom of God.

At this seminar, church staff and lay leaders will learn how to provide compassionate care for members of their congregation who need support and will have the opportunity to be commissioned as Congregational Care Ministers (CCMs) for their congregations.
