Are you curious, concerned, or confused about what White Christian Nationalism is? Join Dr. Drew Strait in an interactive lecture and facilitated discussion. Dr. Strait will unpack definitions of White Christian Nationalism. He will also explain why it presents an immediate threat to democracy and the church’s public witness. Q&A along with suggestions for how Christians can faithfully love God and neighbor during this time of polarization and growing violent extremism will follow the Forum. Drew J. Strait is a professor of New Testament and a pastor theologian at Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary in Elkhart, IN. His scholarly work focuses on political idolatry and how congregations can challenge violent extremism and polarization.
