ALVIN L. WILSON, 80, a retired Elder, died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014. Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. (CDT) Monday, Sept. 29, at the Huber Funeral Home, 1139 Twelfth Street in Tell City, Ind. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. (CDT) Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Tell City First United Methodist Church, 702 Tenth Street with visitation one hour prior to the service. Survivors include: daughters, Kathy Monticue (Kevin McClure) of Spencer, Sarah Wilson and Mary Billings (Clayton) both of Tell City; son, James Wilson (Melody) of Indianapolis; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, Tell City or Lighthouse United Methodist Church in Elizabeth, Ind. Wilson served at: Mauckport; Bethesda; Owenton, KY; Benson/Curry; Bath; Hope; Rockville First; Tell City; Martinsville First; Bloomington St. Paul before retiring in 1996. He also served Central Bethel/Smiths Campground in retirement.
