WILLIAM (BILL) JOSEPH NICKRAND, 69, of Newburgh, IN, father to Elder Rev. William Nickrand, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021.

A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 5130 Lincoln Ave., Evansville, IN. Friends may visit from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 4, 2021 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, Newburgh, IN and Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sue; daughters, Hope (Jeff) Roth-Burns and Jennifer (Scott) Martin; son, William (Lindsey) Nickrand; grandchildren, Chrizney Roth, Chloe (Kameron) McCoy, Joseph Roth, Hannah Martin, Aiden Nickrand, Addison Martin, and Sydney Nickrand; great-grandchildren, Talon and Nash.

He was preceded in death by his parents; father, Jarvis Joseph Nickrand; mother, Muriel Harland Ray Nickrand; and sister, Diane M. Reichenbach.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Aurora, Inc., a nonprofit organization in Evansville, IN, that strives to prevent and end homelessness in the Evansville community or Newburgh Kiwanis.
