Each year, United Methodist Women members prepare for faithful living and action by studying more about mission. Three mission studies are offered at Mission u: geographical, a topical and a spiritual growth study. These studies motivate, inform, and enrich our commitment to global ministry.
Mission u reflects the theology of The United Methodist Church and the practice of joining personal holiness with social holiness. Through worship, in-depth study, music, prayer, and sharing and exploring, we invite YOU to grow with us in understanding the mission of the church.
Spiritual Growth: Practicing Resurrection
The Gospel of Mark and Radical Discipleship
Study begins in Mark 14 with the story of a woman who bursts into a gathering of male disciples to anoint Jesus, and to the surprise of the disciples, is resoundingly affirmed.
