Guided by the theme “From Water to Witness,” the Indiana Conference will gather June 12-15, at the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis. United Methodists are invited to join in fellowship opportunities to learn about many ways INUMC Mission and Justice Ministries is active in communities throughout Indiana and around the world. Guest can learn from unique and experience ministry leaders during these opportunities:
- Prison and Jail Ministry Lunch – Thursday, June 13 at 12:00 p.m. at the Old Spaghetti Factory
This gathering will take place at the Old Spaghetti Factory and will provide an opportunity for those involved in Prison and Jail Ministry to gather and network. You must register to attend, but you will pay for your own meal (approx. $16 per person) at the restaurant. The Old Spaghetti Factory is located at 210 South Meridian St. Indianapolis.
- Mission Guatemala Dinner – Thursday, June 13 at 5:00 p.m. at Roberts Park UMC
Mission Guatemala is an Indiana-based ministry with connections to many United Methodist Churches. The dinner cost is a free will offering. Transportation from the Convention Center will be provided. Roberts Park UMC is located at 401 N Delaware Street, Indianapolis.
- Mission and Justice Lunch – Friday, June 14 in Room 136
Christy Smith from UMCOR will be the keynote speaker. She will share stories of how your generosity has made a difference to survivors. Cost is $22.50 per person.
- Africa University Breakfast – Friday, June 14 at 7:30 a.m. in Room 135
