The Indiana Conference recognizes the importance and value internships can bring to our ministries, as well as to young adults considering their future paths in a secular or ministry setting. With this in mind, the Indiana Conference has two internship positions available beginning in early 2020. We are excited for the ways these opportunities will help strengthen our mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

Camp Intern: March, 2020 – August, 2020
This part-time temporary position (10-20 hours/week) will allow an individual to take a look at the behind-the-scenes work required for our camping ministry to happen each year. The qualified individual is detail-oriented and is able to learn and practice database entry work quickly, as this position will assist our Camp Registrar in tracking our camp registrations, background checks, and a number of other forms. This internship qualifies for, and the Conference would prefer it to be part of a work/study program. Details on work/study eligibility will be discussed with qualified applicants.

Conference Sessions Intern: March/April, 2020 – July, 2020
A part-time temporary position (10-20 hours/week) that brings an exciting challenge to an individual who likes to help plan, implement, and track logistics for our very important conferences next year — the Indiana Annual Conference Session in June and the North Central Jurisdictional Conference in July, 2020. Under the guidance of our Associate Director of Administrative Services, this role is ideal for the fast-paced, detailed, and multi-tasked individual. This internship also qualifies for and is preferred to be a work/study program. Details will be discussed with qualified applicants.

Both of these opportunities will have flexible hours with the students’ class schedules taking top priority. The pay rate will range between $10-12 per hour.  Should a student not yet be qualified as a work/study eligible, we can assist with the discussions at the student’s school.
