Bishop’s Christmas Offering
Jesus Loved Children
Jesus loved children. We can read countless stories in the Bible of the special affinity Jesus had for little ones. Mark 10:14 tells us, “He took the children in His arms, placed His hands on them and blessed them.”
The Bishop’s Christmas Offering for Children is collected each year by participating Indiana churches. This annual offering seeks to strengthen ministries around the world by financially supporting their efforts to reach out to and improve the lives of young people.
Children Matter Most
Money raised is distributed to our camping ministries, three Indiana United Methodist-related children and youth homes, national and global Advance projects, and Indiana outreach projects. Outreach projects are selected through a grant application process. Learn more about previous recipients here.
