Bishop Julius Trimble’s Retirement

Celebrating Our Bishop

Bishop Julius C. Trimble has served the Indiana Conference for eight years and will be retiring in September of this year (2024).

As we look to celebrate Bishop Trimble and First Lady Racelder Grandberry-Trimble’s 40+ years of ministry, the Indiana Conference will be hosting a “Be Encouraged” fundraising gala and celebration in their honor on March 16. This evening will be a chance to celebrate the Bishop and First Lady and raise student scholarship money for The Trimble Africa University Scholarship and the Bishop and First Lady Trimble scholarship at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. These scholarships offer valuable educational opportunities to men and women around the world to become leaders of the next generation. Reservation required, see “March 16 Gala” below.

We will also celebrate Bishop and First Lady Trimble at our Annual Conference Session, June 7, 7:00 p.m. ET, at St Luke’s United Methodist Church in Indianapolis, followed by a reception in the church’s Fellowship Hall. No reservation is required for this celebration. All are encouraged to attend.
