Communications strives to keep lay and clergy informed, connected, and engaged in news and happenings relevant to the mission and ministry of the Church from across the Connection. This team is also charged with helping to deliver content weekly, telling the story of the local church, marketing for new initiatives, public relations to those outside of our churches, as well as managing the Conference image and brand.
The Communications team also walks alongside the Extended Cabinet and our churches to best highlight them in media. In short, the Office of Communications, continually, works to bring the story to new people and existing members, while exploring new ways to keep church communications moving forward through education and training.
