| DEBRA K. (ESTES) PAYNE, 65, local pastor, of Odon, IN, went to her heavenly home on July 29, 2023. Pastor Debbie is survived by her daughters, Amanda (Ronald) Stahl of Henderson, KY, and Kirsten (Jason) Williams of Evansville, IN; mother, Pat (Springfield) Estes of Newburgh, IN; sisters, Donna (Sam) Fischer of Newburgh, IN, and Patti (Bruce) Bennett of Louisville, KY; brother, Brian Estes of Newburgh; grandchildren, Brett, Brittni, Rachel, Shania, and Alyssa; 6 great-grandchildren; nieces, Hamilton, Sarah, and Kendall; and by her grand-dogs, Gus (her favorite) and Nori. A celebration of Debbie’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 9, at Newburgh United Methodist Church, 4178 SR 261, Newburgh, IN 47630. Family visitation will be from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Wednesday and friends may visit from 12:30 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. at the church. Pastor Debbie’s favorite color is yellow and all things bright. In honor of her, the family asks that you wear yellow and/or any bright colors.
