BARBARA GAIL ATKINS, 84, of Oakland City, IN, surviving spouse of Rev. Claude Atkins, peacefully passed away at her home and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 30, 2022.
Barbara is survived by her daughters, Carlotta (Norman) Reynolds and Vicky (Allen) Rumble; sons, Dennis Atkins, Bill (Jamie) Atkins, and Michael (Monica) Atkins; grandchildren, Christy (Brian) Lewis, Luke Atkins, Aaron Reynolds, Clint (Vonda Beckham) Rumble, Damon (Jana) Atkins, Cory (Kayla) Atkins, Taylor (Bryce Cooper) Atkins, and Shala (Brandon) Singer; great-grandchildren, Emma and Carly Lewis, Lukus and Madeline Atkins, Berkley and Lakin Atkins, Braxton Singer, Kinley and Sadie Franklin, and Ryan Atkins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Claude L. Atkins endowment at Oakland City University.
