| DOROTHY (DOTTI) L. GERNER, 94, retired diaconal minister and surviving spouse of Rev. Dr. Henry Gerner, of Newburgh, IN, passed away on January 8, 2023.
A celebration service will be held at North United Methodist Church, 3808 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis, IN on January 28 at 2:00 p.m. A time of visitation with family members will take place prior to the service in the North UMC fellowship hall from 12:00-1:45 p.m.
She was preceded in death by husband, Henry Gerner; spouse, Paul McClure, Sr.; daughter, Deborah (Misty) J. Gerner; sisters, Maxine Edwards, Betty Hunsucker, and Francis Love; and brother, Harold Love. Surviving Dorothy are son, Mark (Nancy); granddaughter, Elizabeth Wilson; grandson, William Montgomery; great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and their families.
