| BARBARA S. BURGHDUFF, 76, wife of local pastor Jerry Burghduff, of Rome City, IN, died unexpectedly on January 1, 2023, at her residence.
Visitation will take place January 5 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville, IN, and one hour prior to the services at the church on Friday. Funeral services will be January 6 at 11:00 a.m. at Brimfield United Methodist Church, 1027 E. Summitt St., Wawaka, IN. Burial will follow at Orange Cemetery near Rome City, IN.
Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Jerry L. Burghduff of Rome City; daughter, Tammy (Roberto) Cantu of Harlingen, TX; son, Jeremy (Jaina) Burghduff of Rome City, IN; grandchildren, Joshua Freeman, Stephony Burghduff, Micah Burghduff, Mattias Burghduff, Uno Galang, and Aishiah Galang; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Linda Songster of Louisville, KY, Mary Williams of Portland, IN, and Michaelle Nichols of Louisville, KY; and a brother, Greg Basham of Portland, IN.
Preferred memorials are to Brimfield United Methodist Church or Rome City United Methodist Church.
