Rev. Myron “Ron” William Yonker Jr., 91, of Avon, IN, retired elder, passed away November 26, 2022.
A celebration of life will be held December 10 at 9:30 a.m. EST at Speedway United Methodist Church in Speedway, IN. All are welcome to attend.
Ron is survived by wife, Mimi, and four children; Michael (Jennifer) Yonker, Michelle (Brian) Deem, Amy (Mark) Miller and Marc (Michelle) Yonker. He also leaves behind six grandchildren; Dominique, Michael, Zoe, Ian, Kyle, and Caleb.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be given to the Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church. Friends and family may offer online condolences here.
Ron previously served McCutchanville Community UMC (1986-1990), McCordsville UMC (1982-1990), Waldron UMC (1992-1995), Barbour Avenue UMC (1985-1986), Chicago Memorial UMC (1973-1975), and Cannelton UMC (1977-1982).
