DOROTHY “DOT” PAYTON of Mooresville, Indiana, 83, spouse to Rev. L.D. Payton, retired Elder, mother to Rev. Dennis Payton, Senior Pastor at Mooresville First UMC, died October 31, 2020.
Dorothy is also grandmother to Rev. Andrew Payton, Senior Pastor at Methodist Temple UMC and Daniel Payton, Senior Pastor at McCordsville UMC.
A funeral service was held Tuesday, November 3, at Mooresville First UMC. Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Company has been entrusted with the funeral details.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, Rev. L. D. Payton; son, Rev. Dennis (Tammy) Payton; daughter, Leslee D. Payton; two grandsons, and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
