RUTH EVELYN PADGETT, of Mitchell, Ind., 93, wife of the late Rev. William A. Padgett, died on August 15, 2020.
Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday or at 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the Day & Carter Mortuary, 1133 Lincoln Avenue Bedford, IN 47421. The funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 20, at the Wesley Chapel UMC with Valarie Foughty-Killion officiating. Burial will follow in the Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Survivors include her two daughters: Carol Rainey of Bedford, and Brenda Harrell (James) of Seymour; three sons: David (Rita) Padgett of Westport, Kenneth Padgett of Indianapolis, and Keith (Phyllis) of Bedford; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren.
