John is survived by his five children: Susan Peters, David Moffett-Moore, Joyce Spayd, Phillip Moore, and Joe Moore; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to Earlham College, Indianapolis Zoological Society, The Nature Conservancy, or United Methodist Foundation of Indiana.
