KIMBERLY PORTER of Yorktown, Indiana, 62, daughter to Rev. Don Carpenter, a retired Elder in the North Indiana Conference, died Thursday, December 19, 2019, due to a house fire. Kimberly’s husband, Daniel A. Porter (71) and their granddaughter, Irie O’Shea (17) also died in the fire.
A Celebration of Life service for Kimberly and Daniel will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, December 27, at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 4800 West Bradford Drive, Muncie, IN 47304. Visitation will precede the service from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the church.
Survivors include eight children and their spouses: Michael (Connie) Felts, Noah (Jena) Porter, Erin O’Shea, Eaamon (Katie) O’Shea, Kieran (Heather) O’Shea, Colin (Sara) O’Shea, Nicholas (Tacey) Porter, and Perry (Chelsey) Porter; sixteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
