ELMA LEOTA CERTAIN of Columbia, Mo., 90, Retired Local Pastor, died Friday, August 2, 2019. Elma was a longtime member of New Horizons UMC in Columbia. During her time in the Indiana Conference, Elma served a number of United Methodist churches, including Coatesville, Amo, Marieta, Jollity, Alford, and White River Chapel.
A memorial service will be held 1:30 p.m., Saturday, August 17, at New Horizons UMC, 1020 El Chaparral Ave S, Columbia, MO.
Elma is survived by her two half-sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Certain, and her son, Dale Certain.
