DONALD WAYNE FRITZ of Princeton, Indiana, 93, father to Rev. Byron Fritz of Cicero UMC and father-in-law to Carol Fritz of Sheridan UMC, died Friday, February 8, 2019. Donald served in the US Navy during World War II.
A public visitation will be held 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. (CST), Thursday, February 14, Corn-Colvin Funeral Home, 323 N. Main Street, Oakland City, Ind. Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 15, at the funeral home. Visitation will precede one hour prior.
Interment will take place at Spurgeon Cemetery, located next to the United Methodist Church, 11700, SR 61, Spurgeon, Ind.
Donald is survived by wife, Shirley Bernard; sons, Gary (Debbie) Fritz, Michael (Carolyn) Fritz, and Byron (Carol Durham) Fritz; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ester Kohlmeier in 1947.
