HAROLD R. WALKER of Plainfield, 80, retired clergy, died Sunday, October 29, 2017. Harold served the United Methodist Churches of Indiana for over 39 years.
A public visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 1, Myers-Reed Chapel, 3729 E. 25th Street, Columbus, Ind. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 2, with visitation preceding from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at Myers-Reed Chapel. Rev. Dennis Payton will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Harold is survived by his wife of 20 years, Beverly Walker; three daughters, Gwyn Myrick (Brent), Dawn Walker-Seyerle (Carl Seyerle) and Sarah Lowe (Adam Levine); six grandchildren, with one on the way, and one great-grandchild.
