JANET R. AKER of Utica, Ind., 76, mother to Rev. Susan Martin, Senior Pastor of Goshen St. Mark’s UMC, died Saturday, April 22, 2017. Memorial services were held Wednesday, April 26, Lena United Methodist Church, Brazil, Ind. Survivors include: Husband, John Aker; daughters, Susan (Andy) Martin of Goshen, Diana (Tommy) Aker-Ashton of Utica; son, John Eli (Amie) Aker of Owensboro; a host of grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
