KENNETH E. REED of Franklin, Ind. 88, retired Elder who served as a Chaplain of the Methodist Hospital of Indiana, died Monday, January 2, 2017. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2017, with visitation one hour prior to the service in the Wright Memorial Chapel of Franklin United Methodist Church, 1070 W. Jefferson, Franklin, IN 46131. Funeral services will be held 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, January, 10, Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229. Burial services will take place at a later date. Survivors include: wife of 15 years, Sandra (Drummond) Reed; children, Deborah (Reed) Fletcher, Michael Kent Reed; five step-children; 17 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Reed is preceded in death by his first wife, Alinda “Linda” Rogers. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the National Kidney Foundation of Indiana.
