ROBERT L. SACHS of New Whiteland, Ind., 92, retired Elder, died Monday, June 27, 2016. For more than 40 years Sachs served as pastor of several Indiana churches, in areas including: Greenwood, Lafayette, Medora, Connersville, Bloomington, Evansville, Terre Haute, and Indianapolis. Visitation will be held 10 a.m. Friday, July 1, with memorial service following at 12 p.m., Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 7602 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. Survivors include: son, Robert L. Sachs Jr.; daughters, Jane White (Tim), Dr. Jean Disseler (Steve), and Joan Casson (Chris); three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to the “Robert L. and Anita M. Sachs Endowed Fund” at the University of Indianapolis. Condolences may be shared online.
