JAMES CURTIS SHAW of Indianapolis, 87, an active lay member who served the South Indiana Conference as Lay Leader and the newly-formed Indiana Conference as the Chairperson of the Committee on the Episcopacy, died Wednesday, April 27, 2016. A memorial service will be held at noon Wednesday, May 4, at Barnes United Methodist Church, 900 W. 30th Street in Indianapolis with visitation two hours before the service. Survivors include: wife, Ruby; sons, Rodney (Beth), Van, Dean (Kelly), Todd; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
