DONALD P. FREERS of Elkhart, Ind., 90, father of the Rev. Jill Wright of Ligonier UMC, died Sunday, January 10, 2016. A public visitation will be held on Saturday, January 23, at 1 p.m., and the memorial service will follow at 2 p.m., at Ligonier UMC, 466 Townline Road, Ligonier, IN, 46767. Survivors include: wife, Shirley McKee Freers; son, Jeff (Janice) Freers; daughter, Rev. Jill (Bruce) Wright (daughter); stepdaughter, Sharyn (Frank) Streicher; stepson, Michael McKee; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
