EDDIE R. FIELDS of Columbus, Ind., 73, father of Pastor Dereck Fields serving Elizabethtown and Scipio United Methodist Churches, died Tuesday, October 27, 2015. A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, October 31, at East Columbus United Methodist Church, 2439 Indiana Avenue in Columbus with visitation two hours prior to the service. The Rev. Charles Aigner will be officiating. Survivors include: wife Dana M. Fields; children Derek (Angela) Fields of Columbus and Amber (Aaron Groves) Fields of Indianapolis; and three grandchildren.
