John L. Pawlisch, 91, father of the Rev. Vicki Hobbs, retired Elder, grandfather of the Rev. Aaron Hobbs of Noblesville First UMC and grandfather-in-law of the Rev. Danny Walker, died Saturday, July 4, 2015. Visitation was held Wednesday, July 8, 2015 and funeral services will be Thursday, July 9 at 11 a.m., both at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Rd., Fort Wayne, Ind. Survivors include: daughters, Vicki (Rick) Hobbs of Noblesville, Ind., Shari Pawlisch (Larry) Myers and Kristi (George) Dunn, both of Fort Wayne, Ind.; stepson, Glen (Mary Pat) Grise of Evergreen, Colo.; stepdaughter, Lauren (Peter) Scott of Loveland, Colo.; seven grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
