ALTON "ED" EDWARD GARDNER of Bloomington, Ind., 70, a retired elder, died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, at Fairview United Methodist Church, 600 West 6th Street in Bloomington with visitation from 11:30 a.m. until the service. Survivors include: wife Linda K. Brocksmith Gardner of Bloomington; and two sons Joshua Ellis Gardner and Jacob B. Gardner. Gardner served Indiana churches at: Walker's Chapel; Richmond Chester Heights/Webster; Hazelton Circuit; Owensville/Blythe Chapel; Bloomington Fairview; and Salem retiring in 2007.
