H. WILLIAM "BILL" MERTZ, 90, father of Sherry Fulbright, district assistant in the Northeast District, died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014. Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 13, at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Road in Fort Wayne. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, at the funeral home. Survivors include: wife, Peggy Davis-Mertz of Fort Wayne; children, Sherry Fulbright, Beth Ann (Ron) Witte, Scott (Greg Kroemer) Mertz all of Fort Wayne; step-children, Larry (Sheryl) Davis of Kendallville, Pam (Dusty) Anderson of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
