ALFRED F. THORNTON, a former Supply Pastor, died Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at Miami Whitewater United Methodist Church, 9700 Dry Fork Road in Harrison, Ohio. Survivors include: wife, Jean; children, Lori (Geoff) Banfield, Kevin (Tonya) Thornton and Gary (Joyce) Thornton; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
