MYRON K. JAMES of Clay City, 71, a retired Associate Member serving Rosedale United Methodist Church, died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014. Visitation will held be from 3 to 8 p.m.Tuesday, Sept. 2, at Center Point United Methodist Church, 200 South Cherry Street in Center Point, Ind. A memorial service will held be at 1 p.m. at the church Wednesday, Sept. 3, with visitation two hours prior to the service. Pastor Bob Kumpf and Rev. Harold Klinker will officiate. Burial will follow at Center Point Cemetery. Survivors include: his wife, Sharon James; and five children: John Owen James of Blacksburg, Vir., Jeana (Glen) Wellman and Janeece Stringer of Saline City, Ind., Rebecca (Jason) Keidelof Riley, Ind., Aaron (Erin) James of Gainsville, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the 14th and Chestnut Community Center 1403 Chestnut St., Terre Haute, IN 47807 or the Center Point United Methodist Church 200 S. Cherry St, Center Point, IN 47840. James served Harmony/Lena; Harrodsburg; Center Point/Ashboro before retiring in 2010 and was serving in retirement at Rosedale.
