ROBERT C. WILLBANKS, SR. of Muncie, Ind., 88, retired Elder of the Indiana Conference, died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 W. Kilgore Avenue in Muncie. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 25, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. Derek Weber officiating. Survivors include: children, Mary Margaret Willbanks of Muncie, and Robert C. (Susan) Willbanks, Jr. of Monticello; and grand-daughter, Kaitlin Willbanks of Monticello. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth. He served Indiana churches in Muncie (Madison Street and Industry), Bourbon, Fort Wayne, Zanesville, North Liberty, Kendallville, Atwood and Hartford City, retiring in 1992.
