PHILLIP A. LONGSWORTH of Auburn, 72, father of the Rev. Toni Carmer serving Warsaw First United Methodist Church, died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 25, at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56 in Garrett, Ind. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 7 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Scott Carmer officiating. Survivors include: his former wife, Doris A. Longsworth of Auburn; daughters, Toni (Scott) Carmer of Warsaw and Kristina (Todd) Beer of Fremont; son, Pat Longsworth of Auburn; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and two step-great-grandchildren.
