JOYCE EILEEN (MARSHALL) HACHMEISTER of Boonville, Ind., 84, mother of Pastor Karen Sureck, who serves Selvin and Fletcher Chapel United Methodist churches in Dale and Lynnville in the Southwest District, died Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014. Hackmeister was a long-time member of Baker Chapel United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, and from 9 a.m. until service Wednesday, Aug. 20, at the Koehler Funeral Home, 304 E. Main Street in Boonville. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 20, at the funeral home with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Survivors include: her husband of 66 years, Paul Edwin Hachmeister; four children, Karen (Greg) Sureck, David (Brenda) Hachmeister, Gary Hachmeister and Kathy (T. Don) Cline; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions can be sent to the Warrick County 4-H Council or your favorite charity.
